Hello my Phellow Phish Phans!
This week’s Phish Jam is a Harry Hood from the Fall ’95 tour. It is one of my favorites for several reasons: it has a nice build-up, several good places where the band builds tension and then resolves, and Trey’s ’95 guitar tone. In general, most people in the community agree that the Harry Hoods from mid-90s are the best, though there are some discrepancies over which one is the best. A lot of people like the one from 12-31-1993 (also included here for reference). I like the one from 10-21-1995. The one in 1993 features more guitar shredding, the 1995 jam tells a better story (in my opinion). You decide which one you prefer!

It has just come to my attention that the first part of the 1995 video has gone missing on youtube, but the part 1 video didn’t have any of the jam anyways, so it doesn’t matter that much.
